Attractions of Festival
Ras Lila: The eternal love saga of Radha and Krishna is the crux of the celebrations in th efestival. People don vibrant costumes and sing and dance fervidly. They perform Raslila gleefully. Whole Bharatpur enlivens up with vitality and zest. The sounds of folk reverberates in entire region. Regardless of any sort of discrimination in terms of class, age and gender, people indulge in utter joy. Rituals: The festival is an attraction for the locals and also for tourist nation and international. The fair resonates the true colors of Rajasthan culture and heritage. The devotees go to the temple of Shri Radha Krishna. A holy dip in the morning at the sacred ghats of Banganga river is the main ritual of the festival. It is believed that a dip in the holy waters of the river purges away the sins of a being. Followed by a visit to the nearby shrines of Hanuman, Ganga Bihari, Shiva temple and the Math of Goswamiji devotees soak themselves in the euphoria of festival.
