Shilpa Shetty, the new owner of Rajasthan Royals, has invested in Rajasthan
Royals Team. She and her beau Raj Kindra has bought 12% stake in Rajasthan
Royals Team for Season II of IPL. She will now seen propagating the
franchise from Emerging Media that bought the franchise in 2008 at $67
million.
This year Shilpa and Raj spent $15.4 million for a 12% stake in the
Rajasthan Royals Team for IPL Cricket 2009 Season II. Now cricket fans will
be able to see more beauties form Bollywood apart from Priety Zinta for
Mohali Kings XI Team in IPL Cricket 2009.
According to the latest updates Shane Warne's Indian Premier League (IPL)
team is in the early running to be nominated for a gong at a Laureus World
Sports Awards. The nominees, venue and date for 2009 Laureus World Sports
Awards will be announced on April 16. The prestigious awards will recognize
sporting achievement during the 2008 calendar year and are usually marked by
a gala ceremony featuring stars of the sporting and entertainment worlds.
